Knee Robot
Engineering Capstone Project
Our Team

Dingcheng Yang, a student majoring in mechanical and material system. He can solve mechanics calculations and undertake FEA analysis

Tharindu Welikala is a final year Engineering/Business Admin student, majoring in mechatronics. He is a Canberra local and skilled in 3D CAD modelling. He will also look at exploring sensor options for the project

Qingyang, a fourth year Bachelor of Engineering/Science student. As a student majoring in electronics, she is responsible for finding a sensor for the project. She also helps others with managing the project.

Phi, in his 6th year studying engineering at the ANU in a major of materials and mechanics. He is a Canberra local and my main interests are in manufacturing and sustainable design.

Jim Macdougall, a student with a Major in Mechanical and Material Systems, and with a Minor in Biomedical Systems. Important skills include Proficiency in CAD Modeling and Finite Element Analysis software, as well as knowledge on the biomechanics of the knee.

Ya Gao, majors in Biomedical Engineering and minors in Material and Mechanical system. Have previous knowledge on analysing the biomechanics of the knee joint after doing the knee replacement surgery

Piper Brady is a fourth year Engineering and Science student, majoring in Biomedical Systems. With this knowledge she will be aiding in the analysis of the knee biomechanics.
